This is my first blog post and my daughter is a week away from turning 19 months old.  I filled up the 12 month baby calendar, I wrote quick notes in a journal, I took photos.  But how can I possibly remember everything that made me smile (or cry)?  How can I capture the essence of this journey?  In the past 2 weeks alone, Cora picked up 3 word sentences (such as "I see airplane!") and learned how to jump her feet off the ground (usually on the couch or my bed).  She can eat well with a spoon and dab her lips with a napkin; she can also run wild through the house naked and laughs when she toots.  And Cora is currently obsessed with Elmo, and I mean obsessed.  If we even go near the living room, she asks "Elmo?", sometimes taking the remote and turning on the TV herself.  It's a trip, often hysterical, sometimes frustrating.  It's true what they say about life being a series of little moments; I will attempt to capture some of these moments here.
